Wild Predators is a standard 3 row on 5 reels slot set on the format design of a typical Hindu Temple that is situated on the water’s edge of a mangrove island in a stunning lagoon somewhere in the Indian Ocean. The reels have a total of 10 symbols-apart from the wild and the scatter, and are divided into two categories, the higher value icons and the lower value icons. The lower being the black jack cards that go from 10 to ace and offer relatively modest payouts and the higher being the Predators that pay out significantly more and, out of which the Tiger tops them all at a staggering top payout of 50k for a win line of five symbols, 40k for the Panther 30k for the Shark, 25k for the Crocodile and 20k for the Eagle. The black jack cards pay significantly less at maximum potential of 15k for the higher house, 12k for the Queen and 7.5k for the lower house. The wild card plays an important role in this slot as  free spins are awarded whenever one helps complete a high value symbol win line that also include 2 symbol wins- yes 2 higher value symbols, which compensate for the fact that the 5 reels only hold 5 win lines from left to right beginning from reel one. Another point to consider is that this slot has been rated as a high to very high volatility game and comes with a rather lower than average RTP of just short of 96%, so the above mentioned potentials are obviously achievable only if the game is set at the highest possible bet.

Wild storms and Buddha Scatters

One of the more interesting characters of this slot is the Wild which depicts an electrical tropical storm and can appear on any of the middle reels, namely 2-3-4. This helps to create or complete winning combinations with any of the regular symbols, but when it lands and completes a winning line with any of the higher value predator symbols, a bonus feature with a number of free spins is set off. A lot of work and expertise goes into the creation of a slot game and in today’s rapidly growing industry of on line casinos and slots, it is becoming increasingly difficult, more like impossible to come up with anything fresh, not to mention anything new and original, and even when on occasion someone manages, it is a matter of time until it is cloned and copied, and once in a while even improved  On the other hand, I would not be revealing any hidden secrets if I say that all slot games are designed to rake in profits, some more than others, some less. The least a provider is expected to do is make the time that punters spend on these slot games an intriguing, dynamic and potentially, financially rewarding. I have seen games that have offered a potential windfall of 7 figures and I have seen others whose maximum payout would not be a life changing event, but the best slot games I have come across are those whose creators went the extra mile to ensure that the experience would leave the player, if none too richer, all pumped up and eager for a second, third, or whatever, time round. Wild Predators is not on of the best slots I have come across, neither is it one of the worst, but the theme has not been thoroughly researched and it offers little for a slot to become a favourite among players. I must also add that I would have ranked it higher, had those scatters appeared that little bit more frequently, as the free spin feature does liven things up and raises hope. A little finer tuning, I believe, would have put a whole different complexion on things.
